Mr. Alfonso Torres, age 43, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2020 in San Antonio. He was born on May 9, 1977 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Alfonso, affectionately known as Poncho or Coco loved life, loved his wife, children, parents, and his friends. He enjoyed travel and traveled almost the entire world. He enjoyed soccer and was a lifelong Tigres fan. He loved to learn and learned fluent English and French on top of Spanish. He loved food and life. He was very smart and was loved by coworkers and family and friends alike.
Mr. Torres is survived by his wife, Rebecca Echakara; step daughter, Rosalyn Grace Echakara-Coleman; son, James Alfonso Torres; his mother and father, Liliana Torres and Alfonso Torres; brother, Enrique Torres; his mother-in-law, Grave Achiya Echakara; and numerous close friends and family.
