Alfred Louis Baecke, born May 12, 1954, passed away on July 17, 2005 at the age of 51 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born and reared in San Antonio, he was a loving and dedicated son, husband, father and friend and will be missed by all.
After graduating from Central Catholic High School and St. Mary's University, Alfred went on to be a district business manager for Sears and retired after 28 years of service. Most recently, he worked for American Greetings.
His hobbies include building and flying model airplanes, fishing, duck hunting, and doting on his daughters.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; daughters, Andrea and Nicole; parents, Florent and Mildred Baecke; brother, Richard and wife, Geraldine Baecke; sister, Patricia and her husband, Martin Holub; mother-in-law, Grace Jenkins. He is also survived by four nephews, Marcus, Branden, Christopher, and Cole; and numerous relatives.
