

Alfred was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He was a proud member of the V.F.W. and dedicated his time serving others through the Hurricane Disaster Relief Volunteer organization. Alfred enjoyed cooking, gardening, yard work, caring for his fish ponds and tropical goldfish, and most of all spending quality time with his family. He was also an avid sports fan who faithfully cheered on the San Antonio Spurs, Dallas Cowboys, and Houston Astros.
He is preceded in death by his son, Alfred Pastran Jr.; his parents, Emmett and Evangelina Pastran; his brothers, Emmett Pastran, Andres Pastran, and Cornelio Pastran; and his sister, Minnie Campos.
Alfred is survived by his loving wife, Anita Pastran; his son, Eddie Pastran Sr. (Debbie); his daughters, Edna Hall (Ronald) and Marie (Alex); his brothers, George and Ruben; his sisters, Beatrice Gonzales and Consuelo Mata; as well as his cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous family and friends.
Alfred’s kindness, strength, and love for his family will forever remain in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him.

There will be a Visitation held on May 28, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, with the Rosary beginning at 7:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237.
On May 29, 2026, our doors open at 8:30 am, with a Chapel Service beginning at 10:00 am followed by an 11:30 am Committal at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
