Alfredo Cass Acosta, age 69, passed away March 6, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in Muzquiz Coahuila, Mexico on October 11, 1948. He was preceded in death by his parents, Onecimo Acosta and Socorro Beatriz Flores Acosta; granddaughter, Amanda Marie Acosta and a sister, Dolores Acosta. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Alicia Acosta; sons, Adrian Acosta, Edgar Acosta, Erik Acosta, Alan Acosta, daughters-in-law, Jasmine Acosta and Mercedes Acosta; brother, Benito Acosta; sister, Maria Acosta; 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Alfredo was a devoted husband and loving father, he loved to go fishing with his family, loved dancing, singing, watching Spurs basketball and loved being outdoors. He was a master mechanic by trade and you could almost always find him working on or fixing something at home. He was a true family man, looked up to by his sons as being one of the strongest willed, hardest working and most respected men they will ever know. He leaves behind a legacy of being the best you can at everything you do, of taking care of and providing for your family and of never giving up or being defeated even through our darkest and most difficult times. He will truly be missed, but remains in our hearts always.. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, Texas 78238 on Monday, March 12, from 3:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. The funeral procession will depart Sunset Northwest Funeral Home at 9:30 A.M. on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 for a 10:00 A.M. mass at Our Lady of Good Council Catholic Church, 1204 Castroville Road with interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery #3
