It is with deep sadness and sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Alfredo B. Alvarez, Jr. at the age 54 from San Antonio, TX. He passed away on February 22, 2025. Alfredo lived life to the fullest. He was driven by his faith in God and his family. He loved to fish, spend time with wife, his daughters, and step-sons and step-daughter. Alfredo also known as “Kalo” was a great carpenter. He was in charge of many construction projects and built many homes. When he wasn’t working, you could find him spending time with his young daughters, taking them to parks, Chucky Cheese parties, and the movies to name a few. He would also share with them his high school years, the rock concerts he attended, and the plans and dreams for them. He loved to Bar-B-Q and was great at it! When we had special events at our parent’s home, he would not have to be asked to cook, he was there and ready! Kalo had an infectious smile and could brighten a room. Anyone that met him would easily become his friend. He will be dearly missed by his family, children and friends. He made a lasting impact on all of us and we will never forget him.
Alfredo is survived by his loving two loving daughters, Abigail Alvarez, Madisyn Alvarez, loving wife Noemi C. Alvarez, his step-daughter Janet Vasquez, step-sons Abraham and David Vasquez, parents, father Alfredo Alvarez Sr. and mother Leonor B. Alvarez, brother Roland Salazar, brother Carlos Hector Alvarez, sister-in-law Andrea Alvarez, niece Alejandra, niece Valerie and grandmother Lita Maria Alvarez.
