Alfredo T. Silva born on July 9, 1913 in Peñitas,TX went to be with the Lord on March 5, 2012 at the age of 98 years. Mr. Silva was a Veteran of World War II Korean Conflict, retired after 28 years from the United States Air Force Reserves and Civil Service at Lackland Air Force Base. He is preceded in death by his wife, Matilde Silva. He is survived by sons and daughter: Alfred F. Silva (Arlene), Janie Morales, and Victor Silva (Mary); 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Also, step children: Juanita Martinez, Dalia Guzman, Mario Ansaldua, Brandy Rollins and their families. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Treviño Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. followed by a 7:00 p.m. Rosary that same evening. Procession will depart from the funeral home at 1:00 p. m. Friday March 9, 2012 for a 1:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church.
