June 8, 1975 - February 22, 2015
Alfredo C. Silva Jr, "Freddy" 39, from San Antonio Texas went to be with our Lord and Savior on February 22, 2015.
Freddy was the son of Alfred and Irma Silva, brother to Janet Silva and Jacob Silva, and Uncle to Raven and Isabella. He is survived by his wife, Melissa Silva; daughters, Zoe Silva and Selina Rodriguez and beautiful granddaughter, Ezra Nevaeh Meeks along with numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
Freddy started out washing cars at North Park Lincoln and worked his way up to make ready manager. Freddy was best known for his love and support for his family and friends, his smile, his laugh and his music. Freddy was at peace when riding his Harley, it was like flying to him. All his senses were free and alive when he rode down a long stretch of empty road. The early morning scents of freshly cut grass and the smell of gasoline from a big Ford truck in front of him. That's where he was free, free of gravity and of the judgments of this world. Riding was more to Freddy than just riding. It was where he was alive.
He was everybody's "go to" guy. You could always count on his riddled words of encouragement. Freddy's passion for singing started with Biomass while attending Robert E. Lee High School. He went on to front local bands Broken, Friction, Medicine Tongue, Sixxer and Tension Speak, sharing his life stories through his music, with his fans that he considered friends. He will be greatly missed by the masses. Like Freddy's dad always says "Never good-bye, we'll see you later.
