Alice Mae Chavez

She met her future husband 61 years ago and they relocated to Elmendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage, Alaska in March 1982. After 20 years with the Bureau of Land Management, she retired as a Lead Land Law Examiner.

She was a dedicated supporter of her children and grandchildren and was at every sporting and school event.

On the morning of March 25, 2024, she passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Sr. and Rosa Garcia and sister, Beatrice. She leaves behind her husband of 56 years, Gregorio, sons Joseph and James and daughter, Cris, daughter in law Karla and granddaughters

Kayli, Tristan and Kaycee.
