

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alice “Licha” Rodriguez, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left this world on January 10, 2025. Born on September 11, 1950, Licha lived a life filled with love, laughter, and generosity that touched the hearts of all who knew her.
Licha was a proud member of S.A. Sports and Friendly Casino Travel Gambling Group, combining her love for adventure and camaraderie. She found joy in traveling, gambling, and cheering on her favorite sports teams The Spurs and Dallas Cowboys. Her vibrant spirit brought warmth to every gathering, where she loved to entertain family and friends with her incredible cooking and heartwarming presence. A devoted woman of faith, she cherished her time spent at church.
She is preceded in death by her father, Ignacio Rodriguez Sr., and her brother, Juan Rodriguez Jr. Licha’s legacy of love and care lives on through her surviving family: her son, David Rodriguez; grandson, Carlos Rodriguez; great-grandson, Izaiah “Izzy” Rodriguez; her sisters, Oralia Sepulveda and Sylvia Cisneros; and her brothers, Ignacio Rodriguez Jr. and Michael Rodriguez. She also leaves behind eleven cherished nieces and nephews, and countless loving family members, godchildren, and friends.
Licha was an extraordinary woman whose heart knew no bounds. She was a graceful and loving mother, a supportive and adoring grandmother, a doting great-grandmother, and the rock of her family. She had a special bond with her great-grandson, Izzy, whom she treasured deeply. To her siblings, she was not just a sister but a source of strength and kindness.
Known for her giving nature, Licha was always there for anyone in need, showering her loved ones with unwavering support and care. If you were fortunate enough to be in her circle, you knew you had hit the jackpot of love, loyalty, and warmth.
Alice “Licha” Rodriguez will forever be remembered for her boundless generosity, her love for life, and her unshakable devotion to her family and friends. She has left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her, and her legacy will continue to inspire us.

There will be a Visitation held Wednesday, January 22, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237. On Thursday, January 23, 2025 our doors will open at 8:30 a.m. we will then go in procession for a 10:00 a.m. Mass at St John Berchmans Church, 1147 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, TX 78226. Followed by burial at San Fernando Cemetery III, 1735 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, TX 78226.
