Alice was preceded in death by her cherished husband, Mervin Edward Taulli, and her mother, Nannie Marie Gunn.
Alice is survived by her three sons, James Edward, Russel Anthony, and Michael David; as well as her five adored grandchildren, Ian, Lucas, Casey, Ben, and Zoe. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were touched by her warm, caring spirit.
A proud alumna of Providence High School in San Antonio and San Antonio Community College, Alice was always committed to lifelong learning and community. Early in her life, she found joy in supporting her family by becoming a Tupperware Saleswoman. This was just the beginning of a fulfilling career that later saw her as a receptionist and nurse at the Diagnostic Clinic in San Antonio, where she worked alongside Drs. Lerner and Duncan for many years.
Alice's life was rich with service and devotion to her faith. A long-time active member of St. George’s Episcopal Church, Alice’s heart was woven into the church community. She began her service with the Altar Guild in 1958 when she married Mervin, and her commitment to the church continued with her role as a founding member of St. George’s Bargain Boutique. Through the boutique, Alice found great joy in working with fellow parishioners to raise funds for the church while enjoying the fellowship and camaraderie of the people she held dear.
Outside of her church work, Alice had a zest for life. She loved to travel, dance, and go fishing, but her greatest joy came from being with her family. Whether attending her sons' baseball games, hosting lively family get-togethers, or cooking holiday meals that brought everyone together, Alice was always the heart of her family. She will be fondly remembered for her bright, lively spirit and the unwavering love she shared with those around her.
Alice’s love for people was truly boundless. She enjoyed playing pinochle with her good friends, John and Wanda Renner, and was known for her warm, giving nature. Her home was always a place of laughter, joy, and open arms. Alice will be remembered for her selflessness, her boundless energy, and her devotion to those she loved.
