

Alicia Flores, beloved grandmother, devoted church member, and cherished friend, entered into the loving arms of Our Lord on December 22, 2024 at the age of 92. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on April 5, 1932 to parents, Thomasa Zepeda and Manuel P. Hernandez. Alicia was a woman of faith and commitment, whose love for her family and community touched the lives of all who knew her.
As a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Alicia was an active participant in the Rosary Guild, where she spent countless hours making and reciting rosaries for those in need. Her strong faith was the foundation of her life, guiding her actions and relationships.
Alicia adored spending time with her grandchildren, and as they were growing up, she loved taking them to the movies, creating lasting memories with each outing. She also enjoyed a variety of hobbies that brought her joy, including crocheting, quilting, sewing, and crafting decorations for every holiday. A passionate reader, she found comfort and joy in the pages of a good book.
In addition to her family and faith, Alicia had a social life. She enjoyed going out to eat and shopping with her close girlfriends and family, and she was always ready for a fun game of bingo. A loyal sports fan, Alicia was a dedicated follower of both the San Antonio Spurs and the Dallas Cowboys, keeping up with the latest games and scores.
Alicia will be reunited in heaven with her husband, son, parents, and three siblings.
Alicia's warm heart, caring nature, and zest for life will be deeply missed by her two children, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and devotion that will continue to inspire.
