Alicia Rios Martinez, age 86, passed away December 25, 2013. She was born on January 27, 1927 in San Antonio, Texas. She was preceded in death by her mother, Otila Johnson and a granddaughter, Stacie Martinez. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Raul F. Martinez; children, Raul G. Martinez, Rudolph Martinez and wife Patricia, Cynthia M. Garcia and husband Porfirio, Sandra R. Martinez and husband Paul; grandchildren, Rudolph Michael Martinez, Heather R. Martinez, Christina Garcia, Justin Martinez and Scott Martinez. Our special thanks to Dr. Joseph R. Luna III and the Lifecare Hospital staff. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Bandera Road on Sunday, December 29, 2013 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. The funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 11:30 A.M. Monday, December 30, 2013 for a 12:00 P.M. mass at St. Paul Catholic Church, 350 Sutton Road. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery #3.
