Alicia "Alice" Vaca met our Heavenly Father on May 20, 2017. She was born February 23, 1925 in San Antonio, TX to Guadalupe R. and Fidencio Vaca, Sr. She never married but was always surrounded by loving family and friends.
Alicia is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Frank, Humberto, and Joe Vaca; sister Aurora V. Hernandez, and pets Goldie, Micky, Gypsy and Daisy.
She leaves behind her nephew Carlos Hernandez and spouse, Diana, as well as numerous great nephews, nieces, cousins, and many dear friends.
A Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 6:00 pm at Porter Loring with a Rosary to follow at 7:30 pm.
Mass will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at St. Henry's Catholic Church, 1619 S. Flores at 1:00 pm, followed by interment at San Fernando Cemetery No. 2.
The family extends their thanks to Lois Green and the staff of Vitas Healthcare for providing the most comfortable transition from the physical world to the afterlife.
