He proudly served his country in the USAF and retired after 20 years. After retiring from the USAF he was employed with Bank One and retired after 15 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Al is survived by his wife of 44 years Nancy Blakemore; daughter, Christy Gawlik; son, Michael R. Blakemore Randyof Dyersburg, TN; daughter-in-law, Sheila Blakemore; grandson, Josh Blakemore; granddaughter, Randee Beth Blakemore; granddaughter, Heather Gawlik.
