Allene Raburn Taylor, resident of The Towers in San Antonio, TX, died on June 28, 2017 at the age of 91. She was born in Wellington, TX to Ollie B. Raburn and Ruby Haralson, the oldest of seven children.
She was an Air Force wife, mother and teacher; later returning to graduate school at South West Texas State University for her Master's degree and community college to receive continuing education credits. She was a certified reading specialist in elementary education and program director.
She is survived by son, Robert W. Taylor (Charlotte) of McKinney, TX and daughter, Margaret Ann Taylor of San Antonio, TX; grandson, Troy Taylor (Sondra) and two great grandchildren of Plano, TX. She is also survived by two of her six brothers: Randall Raburn (Margaret) of Edmond, OK and Douglas Raburn (Annie) of Houston, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.
May she rest in peace in the embrace of the Lord.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 10:00 AM at The Towers.
