My Dearest Allison,
I know why God has taken you. You were a “giant angel” here on earth, and he needed you in heaven. My heart is filled with sorrow, but my mind knows that you are in heaven Living, Loving, and Laughing holding hands with God. I know that you will watch over your family and friends here on earth. As we, watch the heavenly night skies knowing that your star will shine bright forever in our hearts. Rest in peace my dearest Allison, I will never forget you “my giant angel” for you left us something to take care of here on earth. With all of our loving arms around young Alex, he will see just how remarkable you were. From your favorite color, songs, likes and dislikes, we will all have stories to tell. So you rest in peace my dearest Allison for we will keep him safe, and teach him to Live, Love, and Laugh. I will miss you dearly, and you will always be in my heart. Goodbye, "my giant angel.”

I knew Allison only as a young lady that always had a smile for me and my husband as we came to the START Center two weeks out of every three last summer. She was such a pleasant sweet girl. When you are receiving treatments for cancer, smiles and sweet people mean so much.
My husband and I lost our youngest son (34) on June 18 of this year. We know the pain that the family of Allison is feeling now. Our son left behind a wonderful wife and twin 10 month baby girls. We will be praying for all her family.

My Dear Niece,

You held such a special place in my heart and I will miss you greatly until we see each other again. I loved the days when you would just show up at my house with Alex to play with the kids. I will miss that so much. God must have needed a wonderful angel so he chose you, but it is so hard for us to understand. You will live on forever in my heart. I love you Alli! Aunt Nan

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

"Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in every thought and prayer. May the peace which comes from the memories of love shared, comfort you now and in the days ahead."

Living so far away, we didn't get to know Allison as well as we would have liked to, but the times we were around her we could tell she was a bright and shining young woman. I know she will be missed by everyone, including us. I wish we could have known her better. I cannot even imagine how hard this must be, but we must trust in God and his plan.
Our heartfelt sympathy to Yvette, Amanda, Nanette, Kevin, Dick and Donna and all of her family and friends.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. May your memories bring you comfort.
We Love You.
Steve, Ruthie, Blake, Adam and Braeden.
