Alonzo Ruiz went to be with the lord on December 28, 2014 at the age of 39. He is preceded in death by his grandfather: Eusebio Vasquez Sr., grandmother: Asuncion Ruiz, and uncle, Eusebio Vasquez, Jr. He is survived by his parents Leopoldo and Gloria Ruiz, 3 Brothers: Harry Ruiz, Leopoldo Ruiz Jr., and Izmael Ruiz, 1 Sister: Maribel Ruiz; 15 Nephews: Benji, Gilbert, Arthur, Efran, Jose, Roland, Angel, Harry Jr., Tristan, Jordan, Aaron, Leopoldo III, Eloy, Adrian, Josiah, and Nehemiah; 8 Nieces: Jasmine, Samariah, Aliyah, Summer, Krystal, Melissa, Guadalupe, and Sarah; and numerous relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 08, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Friday, January 09, 2015 at 8:30 a.m. for a 9:00 a.m. Mass to be celebrated at St. Jude Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
