Mrs. Gonzales was a devoted member of the Christian faith. Some of her pastimes included reading, shopping and dining out at her favorite restaurants. She enjoyed gardening and going out for drives.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Esteban Romero and Teresa Trevino Romero; husband, Pedro Gonzales; siblings, Paulita Munoz, Guadalupe Rodriguez, Frances Gamez and Lucas Romero.
Mrs. Gonzales is survived by her son, Pedro (Pete) Gonzales Jr.; daughters; Frances Hernandez, Lily Sanchez and Luz Gonzalez; grandchildren, Melissa Clayton, Melinda Balderas, Melissa Valdez, Christopher Valdez, David Hernandez, Peter Hernandez, Patrick Valdez, Joseph Hernandez, Analisa Keller, Elizabeth Gonzales and Esteban Gonzales; also, 25 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren; siblings, Feliz Sanchez, Jane Garza, Dora Gonzales, Mayme Cherry and Connie Simmons.
The Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd., San Antonio,TX 78237 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Procession will depart on Thursday, October 8, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of The Resurrection at St. John Berchmans' Catholic Church, 1147 Cupples Rd., San Antonio,TX 78226. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery III, 1735 Cupples Rd., San Antonio,TX 78226.
