Amalia M. Canavacholo was called home to be with the Lord, on November 17, 2014 at the age of 90. She was preceded in death by her husband John D. Canavacholo, grandson Jesse Guevara and granddaughter Mary Alice Canavacholo-Gonzales. Amalia is survived by her loving children; Mary Helen Rodriguez, Juan Canavacholo, Christina Aleman, Patricia Niño, Richard Canavacholo, Theresa Canavacholo, Veronica Vargas, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Friday, November 21, 2014 at 8:00 a.m. for a 8:30 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at St. Lawrence Catholic Church with Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery III.
