Amalia Johnson was called home to be with the Lord on May 21, 2014 at the age of 89. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hipolito R. Johnson and her son, Larry Johnson. Mrs. Johnson loved gardening. She is survived by her children, Diana Johnson, Richard Johnson (Esther), David Johnson (Ofilia), Linda Badger (Byron), Velma Johnson (Arturo), Janie Garcia (Frank) and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Candelaria Granados and Aurora Peralta. A Visitation will begin, Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Funeral Procession will depart from the funeral home Friday, May 23, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. for a 10:30 a.m. Mass at St. Joseph South San Catholic Church. Interment to follow in San Jose Burial Park.
