Amanda Molina, born July 16, 1933 in Karnes City, Texas passed away to be with our Lord on August 9, 2018 at the age of 85. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Ponciano & Guadalupe Chapa; beloved husband, Martin Molina; brother, Ponciano Chapa, Jr.; grandson, Abraham Arteaga and great granddaughters, Faith & Grace Carrillo. She is survived by her children, Robert Molina (Lydia), Rudy Molina (Alicia), Gloria Molina (Felix Guajardo), Rosaura Rodriguez, Thelma Castillo, Diana Espinoza (Carlos), Clara Gonzales (Alex), Dalia Arteaga (Richard), Martin Molina (Susie), Amanda Martinez (Leroy) and Raul Molina (Rose); 46 grandchildren; 78 great grandchildren; 19 great-great grandchildren; 2 sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was married for 48 years to the love of her life. She was a hard working woman and a jack of all trades. She was homemaker and raised all her 11 kids until the last one went to school. Then she became a Bus Driver for 20 years. She met many people throughout her life and she loved to talk. She would talk to you like she knew you, even if she had just met you 2 minutes ago. She sacrifice her entire life for her family. We all knew if we needed her, she was right there for us. She loved all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren unconditionally. She will be greatly missed but her lagacy will live on forever.
A visitation will be held Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd., San Antonio, Texas 78211 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service to be held at 7:00 p.m. On Monday, August 13, 2018 a procession will depart at 9:15 a.m. for a funeral service to be held at Spiritual Church of the Open Door, 5446 Roosevelt, San Antonio, Texas 78214 with interment to follow at El Carmen Cemetery.
