Amy Guerra was born in Cotulla, Texas, on January 24, 1936. Amy passed away peacefully at her home in San Antonio, Texas, surrounded by her family. Amy loved to travel and was blessed to visit various European countries where her son-in-law’s military career stationed him. Amy worked as a beauty advisor for Estée Lauder at Foley’s and Macy’s for 24 years. Amy retired in 2006. Amy loved her family and will be missed immensely. Amy was a treasured mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.
Amy was preceded in death by her parents Benigno and Amelia G. Villarreal, and her two brothers Benigno J. and Vicente G. Villarreal of Cotulla, Texas. Amy is survived by her six children Eleazar Jr. (Anita), Carl (Estella), Jesus (Rosario) and daughters Elisa Rios, Elsa Guerra, and Gracie Buley (Michael). Amy is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, numerous nephews and dear friends.
