Amelia is survived by her sisters; Josie Arguello, and Margie Esquivel. As well as her seven children; Anna (Gabriel), Yolanda (Emanuel), Joe Jr. (Carmen), Bernard (Ashley), Mary (Steve), Andrea (Antonio), Jesse (Rosie). Her 28 grandchildren, and her 46 great grand-children.
Amelia liked to spend her time at Church singing and giving Honor Praise and Glory to her Lord. Her favorite pastime was watching her Novelas and western movies, and especially ‘Golden Girls’. As well as going to the casinos with her husband and sister. Mom’s bird Sylvester and dog Bee, really motivated her and brought her so much love.
Her first Priority was loving, caring, and raising her children. She’d find ways to bless others with money when she didn’t have it herself. Amelia always found a way to make things happen, and to provide for her children. She always gave her kids Godly advice and comfort them in times of trouble. All her words were used to comfort her children in hurting times. Giving up on life was not an option for her. Being an independent strong woman for her kids, kept her moving forward till her Lord called her home.
Amelia is preceded in death by her father Ralph Arredondo, mother Agustina Arredondo; Brothers Ralph Arredondo Jr. and Salvador Arredondo; daughter, San Juanita Teresa Carrisal.
