Amelia graduated from the School of Nursing, Charity Hospital in New Orleans. Amelia had lived in Windcrest since 1966. She was known for "Dolls by Amelia", creating and repairing modern, reproductions and antiques.
Amelia is survived by her husband of 68 years, Conan Millstein; son, Charles Millstein and wife, Barbara; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Blair, Conan Edward Millstein and wife Sara, Sarah Amelia Drawdy and husband Chuck; 8 great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Sunday, April 10, 2011 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Porter Loring, 1101 McCullough Ave.
