

Amos W. Prince, born in Jacksboro, Texas on January 30, 1931 and passed away in San Antonio, Texas on Friday, August 8, 2014 at the golden age of 83. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle. He was preceded in death by his parents, Amos Maxie Prince and Mary Hembra and wife, Mrs. Rhudeltha Prince. Amos is survived by his three children, Levia Mann, William Amos Prince and James W. Prince; his extra special grandchildren and great-grandchildren; close family friend, Marial Lawson and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Amos was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by his family and the lives he touched. The family would like to extend their gratitude and appreciation to the doctors and staff of Gentiva Hospice for the loving care they provided. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Porter Loring Mortuary on McCullough Ave.
