Amparo Estrada Gutierrez born on June 25, 1923 in Rosita, Coahuila, Mexico went to be with the Lord on April 7, 2012 at the age of 88. She is preceded in death by husband Manuel Cruz; son Hector De La Cruz; sisters Rose, Isabel, Stella; brother Cruz. Mrs. Gutierrez is survived by her daughter Juanita Munoz (Candy); son Albert Gutierrez (Gloria); grandchildren Ryan, Adrian, Josh, Joseph, Michelle, Monica; great-grandchildren Nicholas, Jazmine, Mileena, Julissa, and Paul Connor.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary to be recited that same evening at 7:00 p.m. A procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, April 13, 2012, for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery No. 2.
