Amparo (Polly) Herrera Espinar Mix

Amparo (Polly) Herrera Espinar Mix, age 83, of San Antonio, Texas went to be with her heavenly Father on March 13, 2021, in San Antonio, Texas. Mrs. Mix was born May 12, 1937 in Crystal City, Texas to parents, Jesus Vasquez Herrera and Elisa Garza Herrera.

She enjoyed taking care of and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a beloved child of God whom she faithfully worshipped and emulated without an enemy in the world. Polly will be remembered as a kind and compassionate woman who touched the lives of each person she encountered in a special way.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Elisa Herrera; daughter, Jessica Espinar Bush; first husband and father of her children: Raul Davilla Espinar; and siblings, Ishmael Herrera, Gloria Martinez, Theresa Sanchez, Ceasar Herrera and Blanche Gloria.

Mrs. Mix is survived by her husband of 11 years, Lowell J. Mix; children: Marlon “Tony” Anthony Espinar, Victor James (Carmen) Espinar, Louis (former wife, Grace) Espinar, Cynthia Espinar Ferguson (former husband, Jerry), Helen Espinar Alvarez (former husband, Jaime), and Patrick Espinar (Victoria), and son-in-law, Stan Bush: stepchildren; George D. Mix, Jonathan D. (Brenda) Mix, Lowell J. (Elaine) Mix, Jr. and Linda K. Mix Estes (Mike): grandchildren; Cory Espinar (David) Smith, Nicolas and Alexander Bush; Jade Espinar French; Brooke Epstein Cevallos; Emanuel (Nicole), Christian and Sebastian Espinar; Samantha Maness and Luis Espinar; Jeremy and Vanessa Ferguson; Jamie and Jonathan Alvarez; Rico, Erica and Victor Espinar; Matthew R. O’Neill, (twins) Sean M. (Hanna) and Stephen T. Estes; Jonathan E. (Becky) Mix; Delora Mix; Joshua A. (Andrea), Benjamin J. and Katie E. Mix; and Joshua K. She is also survived by nine siblings: Jesse Herrera, Corina Williams, Alvie Herrera, Hector Herrera, Elisa Rodriguez, Helen Thomlinson, Armando Herrera, Rosalinda Rabago and Laura Tejeda; and brother-in-law, Dr. John B. Mix, sister-in-law, Glenda Jean Peterson, dear trusted friend, Eleanor R. Mix; and many other loving relatives and friends.
