

She met her husband, Jim, on October 15, 1971 while he was in the United States Navy. Jim told her that if she was looking for a serious relationship, then she had the wrong guy. They married the next month on November 22, 1971. Annie was a loving, nurturing and sweet wife and mother who was very proud of her children. People described her as "classy but hip."
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Myrna Santiago; and nephew, Joseph Santiago. Annie is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Jim "Dusty" Rhoades; son, Jason Rhoades (Lacey); daughter, Michelle Rhoades (Nicole); sister, Carmen Perez (Manuel); nephew, Manuel Perez; and niece, Ana Maria Perez.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
