I'm sorry for the loss of a wonderful person that she was.  I worked for her in the late 80's and she was very kind to me.  She was funny and interesting.   Diana Hall

I will miss this great person. We finished college together at UTSA, shared secrets and laughter. She always reminded me not to get upset over small stuff.  May she watch over us all and be our constant reminder to live that moment. Love you Andee....until the Next October..

Andee will always hold a special place in my heart.  Having met my first day of college in 1988, we shared many wonderful memories for many years...So many, that when my husband and I adopted our daughter, her middle name was chosen to be Andrea for Andee. I met Andee through her cousin Stewart Duboff about 30 years ago. I instantly knew she would be my forever friend and cuz. We traveled to Mexico many times and spent time in LA. There was never a moment we were not laughing and giggling. Her mere presence was what made me realize you could have a soulmate that understood you and accepted you for who you were. She held my hand during times I cried and made me laugh at the most stupid things. When we didn’t see each other I would get a message from her saying “big lull” which meant it was time for another get together of good times. Andee donated to my dog rescue because she always wanted me to continue my purpose. I cannot imagine my life without her. I will miss her with a huge hole in my heart. Andee, I will see you again on the other side for more laughs. Big lull my friend, cousin and warrior. I will hold you in my heart daily and remember to find the humor  without you. I love you cuz. My heart hurts at the loss of my best friend from college and someone who challenged me to share every inch of my soul with her, the first person I ever told, “I think I am gay”, and so much more Andee Lachman.   We met on my first day of college in 1988 in an advanced social problems class (which sums up our friendship) and my life has been forever better for knowing her. So much so, that our daughter Samantha’s middle name is Andrea for Andee.   To quote Andee’s last words to her cousin Brian, “we had a good run”.  Yes we did. I miss Andee and her dear sister Lynne.   If I could call her now, Andee would tell me to live, live, live!   And I will.   My very best wishes to all who love and know Andee.

I met Andee at Chatauqua along with her cousin Stewart. I immediately knew she was not only an amazing woman but a soul sister. She welcomed me into her circle with open arms and I knew I'd made a new friend for life. It was an  honor to know you Andee but not for long enough. Shalom Andee.

All night on the telephone Andee was 14 and I was 15. We would talk until we fell asleep about 2-3 in the morning.  I would awake around 6-7 calling her name, and she would respond, “yes, I’m here!” I will never forget those times, night after night for quite awhile. Those were the days of innocence. Keith Boehme
