Andres C. Gonzales, Sr. World War II Veteran went to be with the Lord on May 18, 2012 at the age of 91. He is preceded in death by the mother of his children Luz M. Gonzales; son, Roland Gonzales; son-in-law, Carlos Chapa; siblings Anita, Francisca, Gregorio, Monico, Matias, Remigio, Guadalupe and Paulita. Mr. Gonzales is survived by his children, Yolanda R. Chapa, Olga G. Cortinas (Frank), Esperanza Fonseca (Roy), Olivia Gonzales, Herlinda Aguero (Louie), Sylvia Rodriguez(Ruben), Juanita Gonzales , Dalia Odman (Michael), Andres Gonzales, Jr. (Sandra) and Arturo Gonzales (Diana); daughter-in-law, Frances Gonzales; sister, Carmen;29 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren. Visitation will begin 3:00 p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service that same evening, A chapel service will be held at 8:00 a.m. Friday, May 25, 2012 at the funeral home. Interment to follow in Fort Sam Houston Cemetery.
