Andres married his high school sweetheart, Rebecca Rivas on March 16, 2007. They have 3 children together who he absolutely adored, Adrian (17), Aaron (14), and Amalia (10).
Andres joined the US Air Force in December 2007 where he spent 16 years in service. The family was stationed together in Germany, Italy, Virginia and Colorado. Andres served 2 deployments and a short tour to Korea. Andres won many awards during his career, including Airman of the year for USAFE and a multiple quarter awards.
Andres enjoyed traveling with his family, hiking, working out and spending time with the people he loved. He was an amazing listener and loved picking gifts for people based on little details he heard. He was the best encourager and would help anyone in need. Andres knew a movie or tv show quote for every situation and he often said,“ I’ve got a story for that.” He loved to prove his strong willpower every few years and would give up desserts and added sugar for his new year’s resolution.
