He attended Respite Daycare from 2002 to present. He also attended Howard Early Childhood Center and Woodridge Elementary School.
He and his family are members of St. David's Episcopal Church.
Although Andrew's life was a challenge from the beginning, he embraced the simple pleasures in life and amazed all who knew him.
The family wishes to thank the Doctors, Therapists, Caregivers and Educators who helped along the way.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Edward F. Heusinger, Jr. and Donald P. Kosty.
Andrew is survived by his parents, Sharon and Patrick Heusinger; sisters, Zoe Frances Jasso, Emma ShelleyRose Heusinger; brothers, Patrick Edward "P.J." Heusinger Jr., Michael Walter Heusinger; grandparents, Carlita Kosty, Michael and Catherine Lamm, Purnecy Heusinger; greatgrandparents, Rose Marie Gregg, Walter E. Lamm, Jr. as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Respite Care of San Antonio, Easter Seals or the Brain Tumor Association.
