

Angela was born on September 16, 1929, to Jose and Maria Gabriela Rosales in Port Huron, Michigan. The family moved to Laredo, Texas where Angela attended Martin High School.
In 1950, Angela joined the United States Army where she served for a short time. She returned to Laredo due to the death of her father.
She worked as a nurse for a doctor's clinic and eventually worked at Santa Rosa Hospital in San Antonio. She worked at several nursing homes in San Antonio throughout her career. After her retirement, she was a private sitter at a nursing home. She also enjoyed volunteering at a San Antonio Hospital.
Angela is preceded in death by her husband, James A. Martin, her parents, Jose and Gabriela Rosales, her brothers, Eduardo Rosales and Jose Luis Rosales, and her sister, Catalina Fitzwater.
Angela is survived by her loving brother and caregiver, Enrique Rosales (Norma) of Bishop, Texas; her sister, Lucy Dovalina of Laredo, Texas; her brother, Juan Rosales (Lillie) of San Antonio, Texas; her brother, Alfredo Luis Rosales (Raquel) of Laredo, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Committal Service will take place at 9:00 A.M. on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road, San Antonio, Texas 78209.
