Anita Jo Bailey, age 87, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2014 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born in Drumwright, Oklahoma to parents Simon K. and Velma L. Bean. She was married to husband, Stuart L. Bailey, for 66 years. During their life together, they enjoyed traveling and had visited almost all 50 states including Alaska and Hawaii. Although she was hearing impaired, Anita enjoyed a full life and will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Bailey. Anita is survived by her husband, Stuart L. Bailey; daughter Patti Saurage; grandchildren, Allison Saurage and Scott Saurage, and wife Michelle; brother, Lloyd Bean and wife, Carolyn; brother-in-law, Ray Bailey and wife Cecilia; brother-in-law, Dale Bailey and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., Friday, April 18, 2014 at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
