In 1914, she was born to Miguel A. and Rosalie K. Fernandez, one of 17 children.
A native of Brownsville, TX, she later resided in Mexico City, D.F., Monterrey, MX, Port Lavaca, TX, Corpus Christi, TX, and later retired in San Antonio.
She was kind and compassionate and delighted in family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Anita was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Robert Mifflin Dalzell and H. Morgan Daniel; and 15 of her siblings.
She is survived by her sons, Robert M. Dalzell Mary, Harold M. Daniel Janice, William E. Daniel Jan; daughter, Grace R. Dalzell Emmet Whitaker; two sisters, Eva F. Shaw and Gloria Fernandez, 21 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren.
