

ANITA MOLINA FELAN, age 99, was called home by the Lord on August 21, 2025. She was born in Falls City, Texas on January 7, 1926 to parents Maria Arcibar Molina and Bartolo Molina. She was married to her husband of 73 years, Fred F. Felan.
Anita is survived by two daughters, Sylvia Felan Acosta, husband Mario, and Janie Felan Morales, husband Eduardo; 5 grandchildren and spouses, Roxanne Burrage (Joe), Donna Arrick, Edward Morales (Alma), Vincent Morales (Maricela) and Daniel Morales (Ana Maria); 9 great-grandchildren: Alexandria Morales, Stone Garcia, Connor, Camryn, and Caitlin Burrage and Gabriella, Daniel, Juan Diego, and Lilliana Morales. Mrs. Felan is also survived by her sister-in-law, Hortensia Felan De La Rosa and numerous nieces and nephews.
Anita Felan found joy in living life to the fullest. She dedicated her life to her Catholic faith, her husband, her daughters, and her parish. Her heart was full of love and compassion for her family and friends. She was a full-time homemaker who loved to cook and bake. Loved ones always enjoyed her home-cooked meals and especially her desserts. With a smiling face, she welcomed everyone to her home, saying "My door is always open and you're always welcome here."
Anita enjoyed sewing, ceramics, gardening, camping, indoor and outdoor games and especially her yearly trips to Las Vegas for gambling. Lady Luck was always good to her; on her return, she always shared her winnings with her grandkids. She loved to travel with her husband. Throughout the years, they vacationed to numerous U.S. states.
Anita was a positive role-model for her daughters, Sylvia and Janie--teaching by example. She always took great pride in her daughters', grandchildrens' and great-grandchildrens' accomplishments.
A visitation for Anita will be held Tuesday, September 9, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at St. Brigid Catholic Church, 6907 Kitchener St, San Antonio, TX 78240. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 10:00 AM, 6907 Kitchener St, San Antonio, TX 78240. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 10:30 AM, 6907 Kitchener St, San Antonio, TX 78240. A committal service will follow on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
