

She was a very humble, proud woman who was very supportive of her children and grandchildren ~ she was always there for them. She will be remembered as a hard worker as an LVN working as a private duty nurse. She raised all five (5) children as a sole provider.
She will be truly missed and forever loved. Nana's spirit lives on in the lives she touched and the sweet memories she has left behind.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Apolonio and Genevieve Castillo; and her brother, Apolonio Jr.
She is survived by her children: Simon McDuffie, Kelly Hernandez and husband, Chris; Jack McDuffie, Eraclio Flores, Matilda Gonzalez and husband, Raul; grandchildren: Simon and Jay Paul Serna, Louis Bruni II, Jaclyn Bruni, Joshua McDuffie, Genave, Eraclio Jr and Jonathon Flores; Eric Flores, Damien Lara, Marissa, Maranda, Mariah and Marleen Gonzalez; many great-grandchildren; her sister, Maria Hardee and many cousins along with numerous wonderful friends and neighbors.
The family extends their gratitude and appreciation for the care given to Nana to the Generations Hospice Staff, especially Jose and Michaela.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 29th from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM in the chapel at Porter Loring on McCullough with recitation of the Rosary at 7:30 PM.
