

Anita Lanning Fuller, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2026, just four days after her 96th birthday. Her life was grounded in enduring faith, love for her family, and a generous commitment to serving others.
Born and raised in San Antonio, Anita’s deep family roots made the city a treasured part of her life. It was home to generations of family, lasting friendships, and many cherished memories.
Anita attended the University of Texas, where she became a member of Alpha Phi sorority. She valued the friendships she formed there and remained involved with Alpha Phi throughout her adult life.
Her dedication to her community was reflected in her involvement in the Assistance League of San Antonio, San Antonio Junior Forum, Panhellenic Association of San Antonio, and San Antonio Symphony League. Through her volunteer work, she devoted her time and heart to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
She was also a member of the Altar Society at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Her Catholic faith sustained her throughout her life, offering strength and comfort and guiding her care for those around her.
Above all, Anita cherished her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anita Margaret Lanning and Henry Carl Lanning, and her daughters, Linda Christine Fuller and Diane Michelle Fuller.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughters: Teri Jarnagin, whose husband, Johnny Jarnagin, preceded Anita in death; Cyndee Dubinski and her husband, Steven Dubinski; and Lisa Clifford and her husband, Mark Clifford.
Her memory will also be treasured by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Byron Jarnagin and his wife, Josie, and their son, Ian; Aaron Jarnagin and his wife, Rebecca, and their son, Oscar; Kyle Jarnagin and his wife, Julie, and their sons, Conner and Owen; Alisa Dubinski and her fiancé, Travis Beck; Andrew Dubinski and his wife, Muriel, and their sons, Tripp and Shep; and Madeleine and Lauren Clifford.
Anita’s family will remember her with deep love and gratitude. Her faith, her generosity, and her love for her family and community will remain a lasting part of their lives. She will be dearly missed and forever held in the hearts of those who loved her.
