She was born of Italian immigrant parents, Leonardo and Letizia Miceli.
In her school years she was known as the "American Beauty". She was a very independent and feisty woman but a woman who would do anything for anyone.
Her granddaughter, Aricie was the apple of her eye and filled her heart with much joy.
Ann enjoyed picking up her granddaughter from Montessori school and cooking her favorite meals. Although Aricie complained of her grandmothers 'heavy foot' they enjoyed many car rides together.
She truly enjoyed cooking for her family and friends; no one ever left her home hungry and her guests always had food to take home.
Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Anthony "Tony" Catalani.
She is survived by her son Michael A. Catalani and wife, Christine; granddaughter, Aricie L. Guertin and husband, Michael; great grandchildren, Daniella and William Guertin; nieces, Laura Lindholm and husband, Dr. Ulric Lindholm, Tisa Murphy and husband, Dr. Bill Murphy and numerous other great nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express a sincere thank you to Sister Agnes and Cordie Britten and the entire staff at St. Francis Nursing home, who for six years took loving care of our mother
