Dear Mom,
When I wrote that you are the best mom on birthday and Mother's Day cards, I truly meant it. I'm am so thankful that God chose you to be my mother and me to be your daughter. I have become the woman that I am today because of your love. I'm sorry for my rebuttal during my teenage years. I know that you only wanted the best for me. I'm glad that I had the chance to tell you thank you for being my mom while you were alive. Not many 60 year old single woman would commit to raising a 3 month old baby but God knows I'm grateful you did. Noah and I love you. You will forever be in our hearts and thoughts. To the " Best Mother in the World" Love always, Iris & Noah.

Dear Ann,
You will be truly missed by you family. I am so proud to know such a wonderful dedicated family. While you are in heaven look down at all of them with great pride. You did a remarkable job! May God continue to to look over them.

Our deepest condolences to the McMillan family. Ann was my Mother's best friend at the nursing home. My son enjoyed visiting her and playing dominoes. She was a very sweet lady and will be missed.

Ann will be truly missed by all of our family. She was a true friend to my mother. She will be playing bingo and having fun until  we join her! May the perpetual light shine upon her and may she rest in peace.

It is with a heavy heart that we send sympathy to all of you.

Mrs. Mac, as we fondly called her, was greatly loved by our neighbors.  She was one of the first members of our Block Association and served as the President until she moved to Texas.

Mrs. Mac was "mother to many children".  I will always remember how her church provided transportation to bring them to church.  Everyone went to church dressed in his or her Sunday's best--she made it look so easy.

She did wonderful things to raise money for her church.  With her positive attitude she tackled every task and succeeded.  She sold dinners as a fund raising effort.  BBQ Ribs, BBQ, baked and fried Chicken, pig feet, potato salad, macaroni * cheese, cakes, pies and lemonade--you get the idea it was delicious soul food.  She cooked and served all that would gather in her home and would package dinner for you to take home.

The same energy was used when she worked as President of our Block Association:  Selling raffles, dinners, planning bus rides to many places of interest, fashion shows, and block parties for the neighborhood.

Mrs. Mac was a very special lady/  We were blessed to have her in our life.
