Ann Catherine Paterson

Mrs. Allan G. Paterson,Ann Catherine Jones passed away on November 11, 2001. Mrs. Paterson was born July 1, 1905, in Portland, Pennsylvania. Shortly after her marriage to Allan G. Paterson, in 1934, she and her husband moved to San Antonio, where they resided for the remainder of their lives. Mrs. Paterson was a longtime member of Madison Square Presbyterian Church, where she taught Sunday school for many years and was active in the Sarah Circle. Additionally, she was an active volunteer with the Methodist Hospital Bluebird Auxiliary. Mrs. Paterson was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Lewis and Annie V. Jones, her husband, and a sister, Ruth R. Jones. She was a committed Christian, a devoted wife, and a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Ann Paterson Brown and husband, Gerald, of Seabrook, TX, and a son, Allan G. Paterson, Jr. and wife Carolyn, of San Antonio. In addition, Mrs. Paterson is survived by six grandchildren, Laura Catherine Brown Conley, and husband Michael, Derrick Walker Brown, Cameron Thomas Brown, and wife, Ashley, Allison Paterson Brown, Allan Guthrie Paterson, III, and wife, Nicole, Emilie Kuntz Paterson, and 3 great-grandchildren. The family expresses their sincere appreciation to the staff of the Forum at Lincoln Heights Health Care Center for their compassion and care during the past four years.
