Anna Maria Garcia

Ann E. Garcia, born in San Antonio, Texas on September 23, 1940, met our heavenly father on June 9, 2010 in San Antonio. Ann graduated from Ursuline Academy and attended the University of Incarnate Word. She married Baldemar Garcia on March 18, 1961. She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, San Antonio, Texas, and the Guadalupanos Society. Ann was devoted to the Virgin Mary, acts of Adoration, prayed the Rosary daily and attended Mass, faithfully. She always urged her loved ones to pray and attend church constantly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose V. Estrello and Josephine Munoz Estrello; brothers, Gabriel and Robert. Ann was a faithful and loving wife to Balde for 49 years; mother of six children, Robert Margaret, Rebecca Richard, Ralph Sandra, Rose, Rachel Steve, and Raymond Cindy. She was blessed with 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Joseph; sisters, Rose Chapa, Mary Lou Knisely Mark; and many precious nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 14, 2010, from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Porter Loring on McCullough.
