Anna Blanche Rosenberg of San Antonio, died Thursday, January 3, 2002. She was active in the community, acting as President of the Menorah Chapter of Binai Brith for three terms, a lifelong member of Brandeis University Women's Committee, Hadassah, Agudas Achim Sisterhood and Temple Beth-El Sisterhood. Mrs. Rosenberg was a very active volunteer with Jewish Family and Children's Service, and cofounder of the Pomerantz Cousin's Club. She assisted her loving husband, Sol Rosenberg, in the family business; most recently Rosenberg's North Star Mall. Survivors: sons, Dan Rosenberg and Mark Rosenberg, daughter-in-law, Kathleen Rosenberg; grandson, Jay Rosenberg and wife, Wendy; great granddaughter, Silver Gabriel Rosenberg, all of San Antonio; also, brother, Moses Abelman, Lake Charles, LA; sister, Pauline Hunter, Ashland OR; and numerous nieces and nephews.
