Annabell “Annie” Langston, age 79, passed away April 19, 2019 in San Antonio, TX. She was born March 26, 1940 in Granite City, IL to Robert & Aldora “Dorie” Ford. She was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, Aunt and friend who will be dearly missed. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary post 592, lifetime member of the VFW post 8541. She owned Annie and Ed’s Icehouse for many years, she was a bar manager and bartender for the American Legion post 592. She became friends with many people she met, she was active with many fundraisers and events for children.
She was preceded in death by her two sons; Robert & James, and mother and father.
She is survived by her sister; Roberta Dickerson, her children, Dennis Pacatte, Randy Pacatte, wife Kelli, Julie Riddle, Jill De La Garza, husband Fernando and her pride and joy was the grandchildren; Jessica, Dawn, James, Emily, Emma, RonLee, Eric, and Catherine, five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be from 12-4 pm., Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Sunset funeral Home with a reception to follow at the American Legion post 592.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the March of Dimes.
