
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard, who passed away December 2002.
She met Bernie on a Greyhound bus enroute to New York City; they were married in 1938 and had 64 years of marriage. They moved back and forth between Montreal and Philadelphia; she had a son, Michael in 1943 in Philadelphia and son, Elliott in 1950 in Montreal, Anne returned to school and received her high school diploma at the age of 51.
She held several clerical and secretarial positions, retiring from Philadelphia School Board after 11 years of service. She was a wizard at needlework, loved the opera and was devoted to her parents, husband and children.
After retirement, she and Bernie moved to Boca Raton, Florida, where she directed and stage-managed for numerous little theater productions. She loved to play golf.
Anne is survived by her sons, Michael and his wife, Anna of Beeville, Elliott and his wife, Jeana of Dade City, Florida; and her brother, Bill of Tarzana, California. She has four grandchildren, Michael, Ross, Kristina and Jacob Aaron.
