

Anne Bass Flood entered into eternal life October 16, 2002 at the age of 90. Anne was born in Russellville, Alabama on June 10, 1912 and was one of twelve children born to Tom and Mae Byars Richeson. In the 1930's, she moved to Texas where she resided the rest of her life. In 1974, she retired as a business manager of St. Mary's Hall after 28 years of service. Anne was active in All Saints Anglican Church, and along with her husband, Alton, was one of its founding members. She led and was devoted to serving the Altar Guild throughout her active participation in the church and made most of the altar vestments. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and enjoyed painting, reading and the fellowship of her many friends. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Alton C. Flood 1995, Robert L. Bass, Jr. 1964, and Horace Harris 1931. She is survived by her son, Robert L. Bass; stepdaughters, Barbara Flood and Catherine Ann Fleig; sister, Madeline Hunnam; brothers, Ray Richeson and Gerald Richeson; grandchildren, Laura Bass, John Bass, Donna Grubb, Russell Fleig and Cam Sharpe, eight great grandsons; numerous nieces and nephews.
