

She was the second child of Wilhelm and Sophie Marie Winklemann Eberenz. She grew up in Dallas and graduated North Dallas High School in 1947. Soon after graduating high school, she married another Dallasite, Curtis H. Cadenhead, Jr. Together they raised two children, Robert and Deborah. After Robert’s birth, Anne, became an exceptional homemaker for the rest of her life. In support of Curtis’s career, she lived in Houston; Chatham, NJ; Buenos Aires, Argentina and Atlanta, Georgia.
Anne was dedicated to her family, loving her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren tremendously. She loved gardening, working in the yard and volunteering for charitable organizations. An avid golfer, she played frequently and even hit a hole in one at the Onion Creek Country Club in Austin.
Anne and Curtis were married for 27 years. She was lucky enough to find love again with Robbie Robertson, who she was married to for 35 years. In 2019, Anne moved to a retirement community in San Antonio to be closer to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family is fortunate to have our Mom and Nana be with us for so long.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Anne in Center, TX, on a June 7, 2025. Her wish was to have her ashes spread over her parents’ graves in the Oaklawn Memorial Park Cemetery outside of Center on Hwy 7. The immediate family will also spread her ashes in other locations where she lived, grew up and wanted her ashes spread.
Anne is preceded in death by her parents, older sister Mary; younger brother Willie; Curtis H. Cadenhead, Jr.; Robbie Robertson and daughter, Debbi Kilgore.
She leaves behind a loving family of her son, Robert Cadenhead; grandson, Karl Cadenhead; granddaughter, Jennifer Casey and her husband, Curtis; granddaughter, Erin Heinze and husband, Kevin; grandson, Andrew Kilgore and wife, Celeste, and goddaughter, Yvonne Owens.
