Ruth was born in College Station, Texas to Irvin P. and Martha C. Williams Cooner, the sixth of nine children.
She was married to Paul E. Napper for 59 years and together they raised three sons: Larry C. Napper Mary of College Station, Gary E. Napper Terri and Bill J. Napper both of San Antonio.
Paul and Ruth Napper were long time members of Manor Baptist Church and currently active members of First Mexican Baptist Church.
Ruth is survived by her husband, her children and their spouses, two grandsons, one granddaughter and four great-grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and deeply missed.
