Born on November 19, 1937 in McCook, Texas, Anton lived a life grounded in faith, family, and quiet strength. A devout Catholic and a proud family man, Anton’s life was a testament to love, hard work, and tradition.
After serving honorably in the U.S. Army for two years, Anton began his long career. He retired from Gaylord Container after working 40+ years. Soon after retirement he started working at Clear Visions Inc, and worked up until 2020. Anton dedicated himself to providing for his family and working with the same commitment and diligence he brought to every part of his life.
Anton was a devoted husband to Virginia and a loving father to Richard and Cynthia. He was a pillar of strength and a source of unwavering support for his family. He instilled in them the values of faith, hard work, honesty, and the importance of family.
Anton found his greatest joy in the time he spent with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren - Elizabeth Kotara Ulloa, Christine Kotara, and Colin Kotara - whom he cherished deeply. Whether gathered around the campfire on a family road trip or casting a line at his favorite fishing spot, Anton’s happiest moments were spent outdoors with those he loved most.
A loyal fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Anton rarely missed a game, always cheering on his team with enthusiasm and hope, no matter the season. Spending Thanksgiving Day as a family at the Thanksgiving Dallas Cowboy games in the stadium became a steadfast tradition.
His faith was a cornerstone of his life, guiding him through joys and challenges alike. Anton's quiet strength, warm heart, and unwavering devotion to his family and faith will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
