Antonia attended Brackenridge High School and worked for Montgomery Wards for 12 years, the Patrician Movement for 27 years, which she was so proud of and at JBSA Lackland for 10 years.
She was a member of the Senior Center District 5 as well as a long time member (24 years) with the Fiesta Flambeau Parade Association. She loved to dance and cheer for her favorite sports teams; the Dallas Cowboys and the San Antonio Spurs. Antonia enjoyed cooking especially for her family and the holidays. She was the matriarch of the family, always offering to help those in need. She had the most beautiful smile and lived life to the fullest.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Armando Cisneros; parents, Olivia and Salvador Escobedo; great granddaughter, Avery Daisy Valero.
She is survived by her sons, Eddie Valero (Veronica), Ernest Valero III (Cecilia); daughter, Debra Valero (Samuel Alvarado); siblings, Sylvia Tejada, Sallie Marmolejo, Chris Escobedo, Salvador Escobedo Jr.; grandchildren, Vanessa, Stephanie (Logan), Matthew (Josie), Michelle (Joshua), Michael (Tiffany), Brianna (Ean), Ariana (Miguel); great grandchildren, Gage, Reahna, Phoenix, Kiera, Elias, Serenity, Aubrey, Leo, Audrina, Alana, Everett, Leila, Erza, Aiden, Harmony, and Mason.
A visitation for Antonia will be held Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237. A rosary will occur Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 7:00 PM, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, August 11, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 1314 Fair Ave, San Antonio, Texas 78223. An internment will occur Thursday, August 11, 2022 at San Fernando Cemetery 2, 746 Castroville Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237.
